The aim of this workshop is to leave you feeling the most confident you’ve ever felt, equipped with new tools for speaking in public, in meetings, in networking situations, in pitches, and in formal presentations.
Voxgig is pleased to offer up to 2 free places on this workshop to attendees that are keen to improve their speaker skills but are unable to afford the fees. If you would like to be considered please email Natalie Gray with your contact details and why you should be considered plus how you would use the new skills gained.
This workshop covers the following topics:
Audience and prerequisites
This workshop is aimed at anyone who is interested in public speaking, and at improvers who want to gain new skills. Everyone is welcome – extroverts, introverts and everyone in between. Of course, we encourage those who are naturally quiet, shy or introverted because we know that you don’t often push yourselves forward into the limelight – but it’s time for you to get those brilliant, creative ideas out into the world!
There are no prerequisites apart from an open mind and willingness to participate.
My confidence has sky-rocketed and doing a presentation no longer feels as daunting.
I can’t wait to do my next presentation!
Amazingly talented, warm, approachable facilitator. Such support in making people feel comfortable. Interesting range of exercises and techniques. I’ve never done training like it.
The course was amazing! Everyone was engaged – even the most timid and sceptical among us. We’re all changed for the better – thank you.
Good mix of theory and practice. Varied content. Felt like facilitator really wanted us to achieve and do well.
Voxgig is committed to diversity at events and wants to ensure that these workshops are as inclusive as possible. Let us know if you have any access, dietary, religious or other requirements, and if you require childcare during the workshop – we are hoping to be able to support parents who want to attend.
